Palangi Productions
Palangi Productions is an independent arts and media company focused on the development and production of entertaining and socially relevant stories that allow authentic and diverse voices to reach international audiences.
Palangi Productions was founded by Dr Amin Palangi during the production of the award-winning documentary LOVE MARRIAGE IN KABUL, which premiered at Sydney Film Festival 2014 and screened worldwide at prestigious festivals including MIFF, Full Frame and AFI Docs.
Palangi Productions latest feature, TENNESSINE by Amin Palangi, premiered at Sydney Film Festival, where it sold to Umbrella Entertainment and will release theatrically in March 2024.

Persian Film Festival
Palangi Productions manages the annual Persian Film Festival in Australia. Founded in 2011, the festival presents a curated program of films (feature films, documentaries and shorts) by filmmakers from Iran, Afghanistan, the global Persian diaspora, and those living in Australia.
The festival provides a unique opportunity for Australian audiences to experience and engage with compelling stories from one of the most celebrated filmmaking cultures in the world.
